What to Expect During your first consultation:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

During the initial 90 minute consultation, the ND will take a thorough history so that the underlying issues surrounding your condition or concern can be looked at. A physical examination with clothes on (not internal), may occur during the first or second visit. The ND will then determine which lifestyle, nutritional, herbal, homeopathic or other type of therapy may best suit your case. At this point, a joint decision with you will be made as to how best to proceed. Our goal is to teach you as much as possible to help you reach your health goals.<\/span><\/p>

The second visit usually are 45-60 minutes in length and will usually be within 2 to 4 weeks after the initial consultation. During this time the ND may ask you to get blood or other lab testing done as well as to start the initial treatment protocol. During the second visit, a more fine-tuned plan is usually completed, and you will not generally need to return for at least another month. Subsequent follow-ups are usually 30 minutes depending on the individual case.<\/span><\/p>

Healing is a process and follow-ups are necessary to determine the next steps as we continue to work through layers of toxicity and blockages to health. Generally, 3-5 visits are recommended to establish and maintain a better level of health. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
